Description

These 20cm clay barrel tiles seconds grade are still suitable for use in the construction of barbeques, pizza ovens and outdoor kitchens even though they have some chips or faults with them. They can be used for craft purposes as well.

These tiles are made at 200mm (8in) long and 100mm wide (4in) at the wide end and 75mm (3in) at the narrow end. As these tiles are so small compared to a normal barrel tile they will give the optical illusion of the structure being bigger than it is.

For a rough guide using an over lap of 65mm, to cover 1m2 of roof you will require 100 tiles, there are 12 or 13 tiles per linear metre transversally and 8 tiles per metre lengthways, please ask for help in estimating your needs. Weight 0.35kg each.

Job lot of 24 tiles for £12. Pictures show good tiles, you will be sent ones with chips or small cracks.

These are natural products made from 100% pure clay and as a result after firing they can have sharp edges and also be subject to slight distortion and twisting and also display small firecracks. This is a natural result of the drying and firing process and cannot be helped and does not affect the structure of the product. Clay is a natural product and there can be variances in the colours of the finished products. Please use hand protection when moving these products. These sharp edges will weather over time if the product is used in an external environment.
