Delivery Information and costs

Our products are sent to you by third party carriers. We use a variety of firms to accomplish this and which company does this depends on various factors, usually determined by the weight of the parcel and where it is going to.

The general rule of thumb is:

  • Parcel 0 – 2kg = Royal Mail Second Class (3-5 day delivery)
  • Parcel 2 – 5kg = APC, Evri or other carriers (Overnight to 5 days for NI / Scotland and Islands)
  • Parcel 5 – 40kg = APC, Evri, DPD ( Overnight to 5 days for NI / Scotland and Islands)
  • Pallet 40 -1000kg = Pallet Network (TPN)

All domestic deliveries are on the basis of Incoterms DAP ( delivered at place) for customer protection. Deliveries to Northern Ireland are on the basis of DAP but buyer will pay any duty if necessary.

Pallet Deliveries – Our pallet delivery provider normally takes 2 days to deliver a pallet to GB address (non island/Highlands). You must inform us before ordering of any issues like restricted access, narrow lanes/gates etc which can affect the delivery of your goods. If your pallet can not be delivered to your drive/doorstep then it may have to be delivered to the closest spot the lorry can access.

Large Order Deliveries – If your order involves the delivery of your goods in a shipping container then we ask you make provision for the unloading of said container with a suitable forklift / pallet lifting equipment.

Parcels going Internationally – DPD, UPS, Landmark(Evri) or Fedex

Delivery cost goes by weight, add your required items to your basket and delivery cost is automatically displayed when you enter your postcode after clicking on ‘Calculate Shipping’ on the cart page.

We may occasionally refuse an order due to a premium being added to your destination by the deliverer, such as a pallet to Isle of Man, Wight, Scottish Isles & Highlands. We are sure you understand that a charge may need to be levied for delivery to such destinations if we feel that the cost is significantly higher than it would otherwise be.

The website is not set up for parcel & pallet deliveries to the Channel Islands, the cost displayed is about half the cost of sending so we will contact you regarding an extra charge.

For customers in ROI, Europe, USA and Canada and various countries in Europe, click on ‘Calculate Shipping’ on the cart page and change the destination from UK to your country for your shipping costs.

All deliveries internationally are on the basis of Incoterms CPT (carriage paid to) Sections A2/A3, no responsibility is accepted for damage on international deliveries, if you wish to protect your purchase it is up to the buyer to arrange Goods in Transit insurance.

For deliveries to the EU after Brexit, we deliver on terms DDU (delivered duty unpaid), you may get an email from the parcel carrier asking for payment of duty and taxes depending on the origin of your goods, you will need to pay this before your parcel can be delivered. You cannot refuse to pay this or have your parcel sent back to us.

Orders for NI

Due to Brexit and the extra unnecessary bureaucracy and paperwork this has created, we unfortunately are unable to send any pallet orders to NI for the foreseeable future, unless it can be shipped direct from factory to customer. For this the receiver will need an XI EORI number. This is due to the extra tasks involved and the massive amount of time it takes in the customs clearance of pallets. We also do not send parcels to NI businesses.

We do however ship whole or part pallets from EU factories to businesses or residential customers in NI.
