Description

These diyas, which come in 2 types, are a small version of the long spout and the zig zag diyas.  They are really cute items that are ideal as a gift! They have a long spout and can be used as an Indian oil lamp with a wick, use one of our diya plates to prevent spillages.

The micro diyas come in 2 types, one has a shell like base with smooth insides (as bottom photo) and the other is plain inside and out and very functional. A good pot for a Diwali present. Measure 40mm x 33mm x 15mm high. Priced at 10 for £1.65 (16.5p each). You will be sent the ones we have in stock at the time. If you need to know which you will receive then contact us first.

The mini diyas usually have a zig zag pattern around the edge and a small flower motif inside on the base. Measure 50mm x 45mm x 23mm high.  Priced at 10 for £2 (20p each). Pattern may vary from time to time.

Most of our tableware products are sourced in India. Samples of products have been subjected to laboratory testing for leaching of heavy metals into the contents of the cups. Results of these tests are available upon demand but all samples have passed these EU regulatory tests and can be deemed to be suitable ‘For Food Use’. We try, where possible, to source our supplies from small independent and family run businesses.

Some of our tableware products are unglazed earthenware and therefore disposable, you cannot use them again for food as the porous earthenware can hold the previous product but you can re-use them as flowerpots, paintpots, trinket pots etc. They are not frostproof.

Please be aware that the products we supply have been formed in a mould and have been fired in a kiln. These are natural products made from 100% clay and as a result after firing they can be subject to slight distortion and twisting and also display small firecracks. This is a natural result of the drying and firing process and cannot be helped and does not affect the structure of the product.
