This cooking pot has a fault in the lid where the clay has dried too quickly before firing. It has been over glazed. Small faults like this renders them not a first choice quality item. Still good for your home cooking.

All our building products are sourced in the UK and Europe. All are CE approved and conform to the relevant normes and standards in their countries of origin. We try, where possible, to source our supplies from small independent and family run businesses.
All our building products are frostproof to ISO 10545-2 unless otherwise marked.
Please be aware that the building products we supply have been formed in a mould and have been fired in a kiln. These are natural products made from 100% pure clay and as a result after firing they can have sharp edges and also be subject to slight distortion and twisting and also display small firecracks. This is a natural result of the drying and firing process and cannot be helped and does not affect the structure of the product. Clay is a natural product and there can be variances in the colours of the finished products. Any sharp edges will weather over time if the product is used in an external environment or wear off with handling.
