Description

This plate will hold dirt or compost that comes from the hole in the bottom of the pots. Being low fired it is not completely waterproof, any excess water coming through the pots will eventually soak through the terracotta. If you require a plate that will not allow the water through, see the webpage for ‘Impermeable plant pot dishes’. Not frostproof.

Made from unglazed terracotta, it measures 115mm diameter and 30mm high, the recess in the centre is 33mm diameter and 5mm deep. Our 5cm plant pot will fit into this recess, the 7cm or bigger will not.

Please be aware that the building products we supply have been formed in a mould and have been fired in a kiln. These are natural products made from 100% pure clay and as a result after firing they can have sharp edges and also be subject to slight distortion and twisting and also display small firecracks. This is a natural result of the drying and firing process and cannot be helped and does not affect the structure of the product. Clay is a natural product and there can be variances in the colours of the finished products. Please use hand protection when moving these products. These sharp edges will weather over time if the product is used in an external environment.
