Description
A new and easy to use tile that reproduces, with amazing effect, a traditional Continental roof. This roofing system has just the one type of batten fixable tile, the ‘canals’ (or the bottom tiles) and ‘chapeaux’ (the top or covering tiles) are integrated into the one tile and are nailed in place. These tiles are coloured before firing and this gives an instant aged look to a new building job. They also good for use in low slope roofs, suitable for as low as 19 degrees but will work down as low as 10 degrees with a roofing membrane fitted below the tiles.
To cover 1m2 of roof you will require 10.5 tiles. A smaller format is available at 12.5 per sq.m.
The tiles require 25 x 38mm battens. Comes in a choice of 16 colours. Also available, ridge and edge tiles.
The cost of this roof is around £45 per sq.m for plain red tiles on an average slope.
